So the Rogue Squirrel crew went underground for the past month or so trying to finish up a fresh new product line for you. Well we're happy to announce that Rogue Squirrel's new fall-line is finally available! This will be our biggest simultaneous release to date, and we're extremely excited to show you the new-new. Counter Attack Breakers, The Assassins, and Urban Artistry presents: The Correctional Facility III. Friday June 27 at DC Dance Collective (4908 Wisconsin Ave. NW Washington, DC. 20016). Doors open at 8:30pm, battles start at 9:30pm and go on till 1:30am. So come out, have some fun, and even call someone out, but be ready to battle if you do. Admission is $10.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped support Rogue Squirrel and 14th and L at Culture Shock, D.C.'s 5th Annual East Coast Dance Competition. Met a lot of good people and 14th and L's performance was the talk of the night. Thanks to Lyle Beniga for collaborating with us, the rest of 14th & L, as well as Culture Shock DC for allowing us to be a part of this major annual event. We hope to continue working with them in the future.

Culture Shock DC is hosting their 5th Annual East Coast Dance Competition (ECDC), May 23 - 25. Rogue Squirrel is happy to be a co-sponsor of this years event and will have a booth set up at the Pre-show which takes place Friday, May 23 at the National Music Center in Mount Vernon Square (801 K St. N.W., Washington, D.C.). A lot has happened since our last news update. Our Sean Taylor memorial shirts were a huge success. The proceeds have been donated to Joe Gibbs Youth for Tomorrow and the Sean Taylor Memorial Fund. We thank each and every one of you who purchased one of our shirts in support of a great man. The squirrels will be at Circles 9, at James Madison University on April 5th. Circles is a charitable event showcasing the elements of Hip-Hop culture. Rogue Squirrel would like to take a moment to send our deepest sympathies to Sean Taylor, the Taylor family and the Redskins Organization. As Redskins fans we are sad to see one of our favorite players leave this world to senseless violence. We are even more saddened to see a new father who was becoming, not only a great football player, but a great man leave this world before he was able to reach his full potential on the field and in life.

Rogue Squirrel is a co-sponsor this year for DJ Oh Low's "OHLOWEEN" Party October 31, 2007 at Firehouse Grill in Fairfax, VA. There is over $1000 in prize money for the costume contest, and Rogue Squirrel will be adding to that, by giving away shirts to the winners. We'll also have a table set up and all that for people who want to purchase them and not have to pay S&H.

So make sure you guys and girls make it out to Firehouse Wednesday Night, starting around 10 PM on the top floor of Firehouse. It's free and it's going to be insane.

Rogue Squirrel just returned from Christmas in October. In the same fashion that rock bands depend on touring to reach new audiences and promote their music, Rogue Squirrel has been touring for the past couple of weeks. Some of these venues might seem a little "low key", but when spreading the word, no event is too small. We sold more shirts, made more contacts and gained some new fans.
